Kidney disease really has no symptoms,
which is what is a problem for a lot of people. So there are people that can just
show up in the emergency room feeling unwell. Kidneys can work until about 20
percent of their actual function and so the symptoms that do appear are vague
ones initially. They can be fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss and so unless
you’re being checked you actually wouldn’t know if you had kidney disease
until it was very far along. What we do is a series of tests that did show that
you have kidney disease.
